PACE

Descrizione

Hand-crafted sculpture on Lecce stone, designed and created by the artist Andrea Serra. The artist wanted to call this work “Peace” as an invitation: seek relief in nature, when hectic life sours your heart, let yourself be carried away by the soft movements of the branches kissed by the wind, receiving a great gift, peace. Enclosed in this work is that magical moment.
The processing of this work is entirely done by hand on this stone which is found only in very few areas of southern Italy, namely in the lower Salento in the province of Lecce. This particular stone of marine origin, rich in plant and animal fossils dating back several million years, makes it suitable for detail processing.
The “Peace” sculpture, like every work by Andrea Serra, being hand-sculpted, is unique and signed in engraving by the artist. Accompanied by a signed self-certification of authenticity.
