Hand-crafted sculpture on Lecce stone, designed and created by the artist Andrea Serra. The sculpture is titled “L’attimo eterno” : how long does a moment last? The balance between nothing and eternity. The magic of a moment worths more than a perennial nothing. The processing of this work is entirely done by hand on this stone which is found only in very few areas of southern Italy, namely in the lower Salento in the province of Lecce. This particular stone of marine origin, rich in plant and animal fossils dating back several million years, makes it suitable for detail processing.
The sculpture “L’attimo eterno” has participated in the scenography in an Italian movie that will be in the cinemas in 2025. Like every work by Andrea Serra, being sculpted by hand, is unique and signed in engraving by the artist
