Handcrafted sculpture on Lecce stone, designed and created by artist Andrea Serra.
The sculpture “Between the Waves” portrays moments of profound tenderness. The work is entirely done by hand on this stone which is found only in a very few areas of southern Italy, namely in lower Salento in the province of Lecce. This particular stone of marine origin, rich in plant and animal fossils dating back several million years, makes it suitable for processing details.
The sculpture “Tra le onde” like every work by Andrea Serra, being hand-carved, is unique and signed in engraving by the artist.
