Handcrafted sculpture on Lecce stone, designed and created by artist Andrea Serra. The sculpture is titled “The Abandonment of the Senses” , bodies that abandon themselves, souls that unite. Time stands still and magic reveals itself.
The work is entirely done by hand on this stone which is found only in a very few areas of southern Italy, namely in lower Salento in the province of Lecce. This particular stone of marine origin, rich in plant and animal fossils dating back several million years, makes it suitable for processing details.
