Sculpture on hand-worked Lecce stone, designed and created by the artist Andrea Serra. The sculpture is called “Joy”, sighs that you would last forever. The working of this work is entirely carried out by hand on this stone that is found only in very few areas of southern Italy, namely in the lower Salento in the province of Lecce. This particular stone of marine origin, rich in plant and animal fossils dating back several million years, makes it suitable for the processing of details.
The sculpture “Joy” as every work of Andrea Serra, being hand-carved, is unique and signed in engraving by the artist.
