Hand-crafted sculpture on Lecce stone, designed and created by the artist Andrea Serra. Illuminating sculpture “Coral”: that sea that with dedication has delicately dug those furrows, creating a play of chiaroscuro that tells of time. Coral, like those corals that mother nature shapes, as if they were a blank canvas ready to paint.

The processing of this work is entirely done by hand on this stone which is found only in very few areas of southern Italy, namely in the lower Salento in the province of Lecce. This particular stone of marine origin is rich in plant and animal fossils, some of which are clearly visible, dating back to several million years ago, making it suitable for detail processing.
The Coral illuminating sculpture, like every work by Andrea Serra, being sculpted by hand, is unique and signed in engraving by the artist.
